Pinela is one of the oldest grape varieties of the Vipava Valley, elegant and more feminine than the Zelena variety, yet equally fascinating and popular for centuries. The wine boasts a delicate light greenish-yellow colour and a fairly intense bouquet, dominated by floral and fruity aromas, especially citrus and peach. The palate is complemented by fresh, pleasant acidity, which, together with its other characteristics, creates a harmonious body. Thanks to its pronounced drinkability, Pinela is an excellent companion to homemade prosciutto, meat dishes, fish, and seafood specialities.
